Golf Breaks in UK and Ireland

Golf in UK and Ireland is the envy of the World, but why? Could it be the history of where golf began or the style of courses? Links courses, considered some of the best in the World such as Royal St Georges and Royal Portrush, one-day sunshine and shorts and the next 70 mph gales, driving rain and waterproofs. Parkland courses such as Stoke Park and The K-Club or our fantastic heathland courses, Sunningdale, Walton Heath and Woodhall Spa, home to the English Golf Union, the list is endless with household names playing host to British Opens and European Tour events along with lesser-known gems stretching the length and the breadth of our shores. My guess its all of the aforementioned plus a whole lot more.
