This is arguably the best course of the Pebble Beach resort and one of the finest in the world. Every hole is named after a Treasure Island character but this is no fairytale affair. It’s tough, it’s beautiful and it’s brilliant. The understated clubhouse belies the majesty of the design but the clubhouse staff treat you expertly and you’re soon on the way to playing one of the best courses in the world. The first hole cuts through towering pines and then you’re out onto meandering links and forest and heath-like terrain. Every hole is a treat.
