One of the most exclusive small hotels in the West Indies, the Sandpiper is the perfect vacation hideaway on the West Coast of Barbados. Much of this hotel’s charm and style are attributed to Wayne and Karen Capaldi who run it with meticulous attention to detail without sacrificing the relaxed manner of the Caribbean. All guest rooms are individually appointed and have wall safes, CD player/clock radios, fridges, toasters and hair dryers. Bathrooms have combination shower and tub. Air conditioned one-bedroom accommodation boasts a separate living room with a sofa bed, kitchen and patio or balcony. All rooms and suites have lovely vistas, overlooking the gardens, pool or Caribbean Sea. The Sandpiper is a five-minute walk from Holetown, where there are many restaurants, bars and shops. The white sand beach is wide and long and slopes gradually down to calm, safe swimming in the clear Caribbean Sea.
