Created in 1901,Wimereux is looking fantastic after several
years of investment and expert greenkeeping. The friendly welcome in the clubhouse contrasts nicely with the demanding opening sequence of holes (surely the toughest stretch on the coast!...) So deal with the challenge as best you can, take advantage of the generous fairways, avoid the pot bunkers and make your score on the back nine...particularly the make or break Par-5 17th and 18th. Even on a “bad-swing day”, the views of the Channel and Saint-Jean Bay make for a memorable occasion. The clubhouse fare is simple and tasty. Easy walking. Two miles from Wimereux and 12 miles north of Hardelot.
