Lacanau Golf Course
One of the best courses in the south-west of France, Lacanau is a wonderful pine forest layout quite similar to Hardelot Les Pins in Northern France. Lacanau has several memorable holes and a high standard of maintenance. Tall pines, doglegs and an abundance of clever sand traps are apparent but you may also have to play against the breezes coming from the miledistant Atlantic! Never too difficult and always enjoyable, Lacanau is worthy of playing many times. Fairly flat. 30 miles west of Bordeaux.
