Kona Country Club Golf Course

The Ocean Course

The Ocean Course designed by William Bell sits along the Pacific Ocean with stunning mountain and coastline view with trails of ancient lava flows.
Built in 1966, this William Bell designed course maintains its charm by incorporating natural settings along the Pacific Ocean and gorgeous mountain views. Be ready to take a picture on the Signature holes 3 and 12 and the blow hole on the 13th.
The wide, lush fairways, Bermuda grass greens and numerous sand bunkers are presented in fine condition and do not present too much of a task but watch out the ever-present turquoise blue water and lava rocks.  Highly-rated by many guides, it’s atypical Hawaiian golf and very enjoyable.

The Mountain Course

With breath-taking panoramic views of the Kona coastline, the Mountain Course has its way of attracting beginners and advanced golfers alike. It features a cool mountain setting, manicured Bermuda greens, elevated tees, numerous bunkers and three lakes. Challenge yourself on the front nine as you experience elevation changes. After reaching the crescendo, all you see is a clear blue ocean, swaying palm trees and a panoramic view from Keauhou to Kona.
There are several stunning holes and the back nine features some of the finest views and landscaping you’ll see.  Short and very sweet, this is very good holiday golf.
