Champ de Bataille Golf Course
Yet another splendid course in a magnificent setting. Trent Jones Jnr and Kyle Phillips (of Kingsbarns and The Grove fame) created an exciting golf course with enticing fairways, big greens and frightening water hazards. Not only is the course challenging but the rolling landscape and ancient trees add to the attraction. The clubhouse is a low-key but friendly affair with great-value golfers’ meals to be had. A real favourite. Flat except for four steep climbs (electric trollies available). Two miles north-west of Meulan and 15 miles north-west of Versailles. You can choose 'Resident Golf Rate' for this course if staying at Hotel du Golf Deauville or Normandy Barriere.
