The rainbow nation
South Africa’s scenic wonders are legendary. From Table Mountain to God’s Window, the mountains, forests, coasts and deserts will feast your eye and lift your spirit. And the golf will delight you too – from Atlantic Beach to Erinvale, from Fancourt to Legends… Brilliant golf courses bathed in brilliant sunshine await you.
Situated at the southern tip of Africa, South Africa has a landmass of 1 233 404 km² edged on 3 sides by a nearly 3000km coastline washed by the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic. It is bordered in the north by Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and also wraps itself around two independent countries, the Lesotho and Swaziland. South Africa has no fewer than three capitals: Cape Town, Pretoria and Bloemfontein.
The Western Cape is the ideal place to begin your holiday. Some of Cape Town’s more famous landmarks include Table Mountain where you can toast the sunset, Robben Island, Cape Point, Chapman’s Peak and, of course, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Out of the city lies the Winelands.
South Africa has been declared one of the 18 megadiverse destinations in the world. There are numerous conservation projects to protect its natural heritage and the country is home to the famous Big Five (rhino, elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo).

South Africa has a temperate climate and is known for its long sunny days. Most of the provinces have welcome summer rainfalls, except for the Western Cape. With great flight routes between the UK and South Africa, several clients meander their way through South Africa with a few quality hotel and golf stop-offs on the way, ending up at the homeward airport. Or, why not take the world-famous Blue Train between Pretoria and Cape Town. Anything is possible and we’re the people who know how.
And once you’ve got to South Africa, it’s affordable with food and wine and hotels at prices to attract. Facilities are often world-class whether Afro-chic, authentic Africa or European in style, there will be something to suit you.
Every time we go to South Africa, the food just gets better and better. From traditional comfort food to Michelin-star dining; a hearty shebeen buffet or a gourmet banquet beneath a star-strewn African sky, the variety will delight your taste buds!
