West Coast Golf Holidays

Arguably more famous for its mountains, National Parks and stunning views over the Irish Sea, the West Coast of Wales nevertheless has two world-class courses in Royal St. David’s and Aberdovey and a couple of hidden gems for good measure.  The links courses are as beautiful as you’ll play anywhere in the world and they follow the strictest of links design so purists and tourists will both be delighted.

We feature Harlech and Aberdovey as our West Coast Wales accommodation destinations.  Aberdovey is regarded as “Wale’s best secret” and West Coast Golf Holidays boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn.  The nearby peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complimented by the charm of the Dovey and Dysynni Valleys. Not only perfect for golf, the area is ideal for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers.

West Coast Golf Breaks

Aberdovey is itself a thriving little harbour resort set within the Snowdonia National Park, where the River Dyfi meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay.  Our West Coast Golf Breaks are renowned for their good value and high-quality accommodation.  Its hotels and guest houses have won both the national RAC and AA awards.

Harlech is exceptionally strong for its historical attractions and offers a nice mix of traditional hotels and the medieval sites of Harlech Castle, Criccieth Castle and Cymer Abbey and the early 20th=Century gardens of Portmeirion are awe-inspiring and make for a brilliant backdrop to the beautiful course of Royal St. David’s.
