St Omer Lille and Arras Golf Holidays

Just an hour from Calais, Lille and Arras are small cities offering good parkland golf and a fine choice of après-golf. It’s also surprisingly inexpensive with our Northern Inland Fance Golf Holidays top-value green-fees mixing very attractively with great hotel deals. Eating and drinking is also easy on the wallet.

Bondues, Brigode and Le Sart are the best courses in Lille and Arras, regular host to the French Ladies Open, is certainly good enough to base a holiday around. To add a little variety, the new course of Merignies is scenic and in excellent condition with a warm welcome and plenty of availability – even at weekends.

Of course, the area saw much of WWI and WWII and there are museums and monuments to visit, admire and reflect upon. And for more light-hearted après-golf, Lille has over 250 bars and more restaurants than you could try in a year. Arras is more intimate but just as much fun.
