St Omer Lille and Arras Golf Holidays

Just an hour from Calais, Lille and Arras are small cities offering good parkland golf and a fine choice of après-golf. Bondues, Brigode and Le Sart are the best courses in Lille and Arras, regular host to the French Ladies Open, is certainly good enough to base a holiday around. To add a little variety, the new course of Merignies is scenic and in excellent condition with a warm welcome and plenty of availability – even at weekends.

Of course, the area saw much of WWI and WWII and there are museums and monuments to visit, admire and reflect upon. And for more light-hearted après-golf, Lille has over 250 bars and more restaurants than you could try in a year. Arras is more intimate but just as much fun.
