Adriatic Sea Golf Breaks

Motovun is a medieval town that grew up on the site of an ancient city called Kastelijer. It is situated on a hill 270m above sea level with houses scattered all over the hill.  On the inner walls are several coats-of-arms of different Motovun ruling families and two gravestones of Roman inhabitants (dating from the 1st century).

The Rovinj coastal area has numerous bays, creeks and inlets.  There are places of great natural and ecological value such as Punta Corente-Muntrav, Saint Andrea’s archipelago, the Palud marsh, the Limski Kanal Fjord, and Monfiorenzo cave.   The presence of man in Rovinj reaches back to prehistoric time, with
a settlement dating from the 2nd century presenting a unique opportunity to see such an architectural model.

You should also find time to take a boat tour into Lim Fjord.  The Fjord penetrates the inland for six miles and is practically unreachable for men and therefore a paradise for many animals. You can even visit the newly “renovated” pirates cave there!
