Golf Holidays Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the price?
The itinerary on your quotation or as detailed in the package is included in the price unless otherwise stated. Normally, the price will include the accommodation with board as listed, the green-fees and travel as detailed.
What is All-Inclusive?
There are four types of board: Room only where the price only includes the room and taxes, bed and breakfast, half-board (dinner, bed and breakfast) and All-Inclusive which includes all food and drinks (with sometimes the exception of premium branded drinks) consumed within the resort's boundaries.
Are you bonded?
We are part of Hardelot Holidays Limited, a family-run company and the longest-established golf holiday company in Europe. We adhere to the EC Travel Directive and are long-standing bonded members of ABTA.
Are buggies included in the price?
Some resorts include buggies in the price but generally buggies are payable direct to the golf club. We will advise you accordingly and the buggy information will be detailed on your Holiday Itinerary.
When do I get my tickets?
Tickets can be downloaded using the Client Zone on the website as soon as you pay your holiday balance. Or we can email them to you. Tickets will include your vouchers and tourist information.
When do I pay the deposit and balance?
The deposit is payable when you book the holiday. The deposit amount ranges from £50 upwards depending on the itinerary and what we have to immediately pay on your behalf. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the holiday starts but you can pay earlier and download your tickets as soon as you have.
Do you have resort representatives?
Depending on the destination, we either offer a hotline phone number or a personalised service in your location. Details of the level of service available during your holiday will be detailed on your Holiday Itinerary. An emergency phone number is listed for every client.
Are the tee-times just for me?
The vast majority of golf courses let you play as you want to play. And if you’re a party of multiples of four, the tee-time is definitely just for you! At some courses if you're playing as a three-ball or less, the Starter might ask if you join up with other players. We can advise you the best courses and best times to play if you want the best chance of playing as you want.
When can I check-in to our accommodation?
The standard Check-in times are 15.00. Hotels will usually take care of your luggage if you arrive earlier and most hotels will allow you to check-in earlier if your bedroom has been cleaned and prepped.
Do I need a Handicap Certificate?
Very few courses enforce the requirement to show your Handicap Certificate but, if you're not an accomplished player, it is best to tell us and we'll suggest the right courses for you.
How do I claim my Past Client discounts or vouchers?
If you are a Past Client, we keep a record on what discounts you are due, whether it's the £50 Repeat Business discount, the £20 Completed Questionnaire discount or a thank you from us for recommending your friends.
If you are a new client but have been given a voucher for completing a survey or as a booking incentive, please let us know and send us a copy of the voucher when paying your holiday deposit
